The short review is, iPad Pro's hardware is as powerful as Surface Pro 4 when it comes to drawing with the apps. The only significant difference is the variety of apps in the app store of iOS and Windows Store. There should be no problem finding alternatives but the two apps I really miss on the iPad are Paper by FiftyThree and Procreate.

It's the Digitizer, which is still the same as in the Surface Pro 4. I am still not sure, if the accuracy is good enough for me. Compared the Surface Pro to the iPad Pro in a store, and when it comes to pen accuracy, the iPad Pro is in another league.
